Matched funding leads to sweet success for Easter telephone campaign

25 April 2016

Over £100,000 was raised during our recent telephone campaign - money which will be used to fund the new Claughton Scholarship as part of the AP100 Campaign.

A team of 12 recent school leavers returned to KES during the Easter holidays in order to call Old Edwardians as well as former parents. Over 65% of the people they spoke to decided to make a gift - totalling over 200 donations during the week.

All donations have been doubled in value thanks to matched funding generously given by the Old Edwardians Association and the King Edward's Foundation. We would like to thank both for their support, as well as to all those who have made a gift during the telephone campaign.

There is still time to double your donation - make your gift before 1 June to qualify.
